Knowledge and education are the backbone of every society. Knowledge is power and critical to development of any country . the educational system in egypt has a long intellectual and educational tradition. It has a tradition of expending human energy and resources on the search for all forms of knowledge. we find many drawbacks in the educational systems and these are often related to economic, social and political problems.
In Egypt,we do not spend enough on education.Insufficient funding affects all aspects of education beginning with infrastructure all the way to the quality of education. Lack of funding results in the lack of buildings and this reduces the number of class rooms which forces too many students into classes and forces schools to work in shifts. Insufficient funds lead to sub par salaries for teachers which affects on their productivity . The huge number of students whether in schools or universities affects the quality of education, less interaction between students and teachers, teaching method are traditional and new methods are usually ignored.curriclumseem to encourage submission and memorization, rather than free critical thinking. In many cases, the contents of these curricula do not encourage the student to think and to create.
cooperation between countries would help to solve many problems in producing more useful and productive students. The current curriculum needs to be replaced with modern methods of teaching which employ research and create in students the eagerness for invention and discovery.Teachers need to be trained more in order to educate students in a more useful and interesting way. There should be teacher workshops on a regular basis and teachers should be paid competitive salaries so they can concentrate solely on teaching. The teaching of science and technology is mostly theoretical. This needs to be changed with more practical training. It also requires more science laboratories.
the educational system in egypt needs for greet efforts to develope. It needs for the efforts of the government and individuals. To raise the awareness about education, to prepare the students for serving the country, to specify the goals for students, to organize the study time instead of wasting it, and to encourage parents to participate in the educational process.

the television
****television has many supporters, but also many people who are against it.
A-the television is one of the most important sources of intertainment and information.
1-children actually learn morals and life lesson from some violence on television
B-the most important disadvantages is:
1-very passive activity
2-stop doing other activities which are more active
3-main problem with TV today is the lack of quality of the programs

the television
television
There is no doubt that TV has taken off during the last twenty years: most people cannot imagine their lives without that gadget, as it has become one of the most important sources of entertainment and information. In spite of that, TV gives rise to a lot of heated debate, as many people find many disadvantages to it.
Firstly, one of the most important disadvantages is that watching TV is a very passive activity. Although reading could also be considered passive, as no physical movement is involved, in it there is much more intellectual activity, as the reader has to interpret, understand and imagine what they read. TV presents everything already processed, so viewers just have to watch and they do not need so much concentration. What is more, as it is quite relaxing, people watch too much TV and they stop doing other activities which are more active, such as sports, or playing musical instruments.
Secondly,on one hand many people also claim that the main problem with TV today is the lack of quality of the programs, which contain a lot of violence and can be a bad influence for young viewers. There has been overwhelming evidence that suggest viewing violent and aggressive behavior on television, does in deed directly affect children. Children are great imitators. Imaginary play and modeling their . Many parents believe that children are not able to tell the difference between fact and fiction, so they may interpret that everything that is shown on TV is correct, while adults perfectly know that is not true.
on the another, hand Some people will argue that children actually learn morals and life lesson from some violence on television. In shows such as the good guys always win and the bad guys are always punished. This idea helps children realize that bad acts are punishable. They will more often identify with the heroes in the story, and they themselves will aspire to be one of the good guys .

To conclude, TV is a form of entertainment which has become very popular, and which has many supporters, but also many people who are against it. In my opinion, TV can be a useful gadget to get information from and to be entertained, as long as the programs and content are appropriate. I believe that, although there is some good content to it, most of the programs show negative stereotypes for people to follow, and that is something that has to change. As regards the first disadvantage mentioned, I believe that watching TV is not a totally negative activity, as long as we can control how much time we spend doing it. But whether it is positive or negative, everybody agrees on the fact that television has dramatically changed our world, and it will continue to do so.

air polution
air pollution takes many different forms and arises from a variety of sources.it has a series of effects on human health as well as the whole environment and it has already become a global issue.
With rapid growth of industries and economy, air pollution becomes a worldwide problem, especially in developing countries. The quick industrialization is usually accompanied by much more factories. Burning a great deal of fuel, burning of fossil fuels (coal, gasoline, etc..) is the largest source of air pollutants. These fuels cause smog, acid rain, soot and particulates increases, greenhouse gas emissions. Fossil fuels are widely used for heating, transportaion, electricity generation, manufacturing and other industries. Other human-made sources include aerosol sprays and leaky refrigerators, as well as fumes from paint.Burning of agriculture waste in Egypt causes a high range of pollution.
The health effects caused by air pollutants may range from subtle biochemical and physiological changes to difficulty in breathing, wheezing, coughing and aggravation of existing .It has caused many problems ranging from lung cancer to the greenhouse effect. These effects can result in increased medication use, increased doctor or emergency room visits, more hospital admissions and premature death. .Increasing carbon dioxide emissions cause about 50-60% of the global warming.
The Clean Air Act, if strictly enforced by the government, will surely improve its clean air standard, which in turn improves human health and results in a longer life span. It is the responsibility of every individual to fight air pollution that our Earth is suffering from now. There are so many ways that we could help prevent air pollution from reaching its worst level. At home and at work and at everywhere, turn off the lights when not needed; change the light bulbs into low power ratings with high efficiency;walk instead of using the car when going to a place only a block away; and let your school children ride in a school bus rather than sending them to school with the family car.you shouldn't throw your garbadge in the street. The government should prevent burning of agriculture and industrial waste.
There are plenty of ways that we can contribute in the preservation of our environment. Air pollution is an important matter, which every individual should be concerned about. The solution to air pollution is not a government concern,This is everybody's issue.

air pollution takes many different forms and arises from a variety of sources. In terms of overall range and extents of impacts, Many forms of air pollution are human-made.And even around the world, where it affects everything.
burning of fossil fuels (coal, gasoline, etc..) is the single largest source of air pollutants. These fuels cause smog, acid rain, soot and particulates increases, greenhouse gas emissions, and dispersal of some heavy metal contaminants. Fossil fuels are widely used for heating, transportaion, electricity generation, manufacturing and other industries. Other human-made sources include aerosol sprays and leaky refrigerators, as well as fumes from paint, varnish, and other solvents.Factories, in general, are associated with manufacturing products, and many times that requires using many different materials in the creative process. As chemicals, heat and waste from the new products go through assembly, they all need to be removed from the factory. Open air vents, smokestacks and chimneys release the pollution from the factory into the air. burning of agriculture and livestock contribute to air pollution by releasing dangerous gases and chemicals into the atmosphere.
The health effects caused by air pollutants may range from subtle biochemical and physiological changes to difficulty in breathing, wheezing, coughing and aggravation of existing respiratory and cardiac conditions. These effects can result in increased medication use, increased doctor or emergency room visits, more hospital admissions and premature death. hydrogen and carbon dioxide are the main greenhouse gas. However, hydrogen is not emitted during industrial processes. Humans do not contribute to the hydrogen amount in the air, this is only changing naturally during the hydrological cycle, and as a result it is not a cause of global warming.Increasing carbon dioxide emissions cause about 50-60% of the global warming.
The Clean Air Act, if strictly enforced by the government, will surely help improve its clean air standard, which in turn improves human health and results in a longer life span. It is the responsibility of every individual to help curb the worsening air pollution that our mother Earth is experiencing now. There are so many ways that we could help prevent air pollution from reaching its worst level. At home and at work, turn off the lights when not needed; change the light bulbs into low power ratings with high efficiency; buy air-conditioning and refrigeration units using refrigerant, which emits limited CFCs into our air; dispose old appliances or household materials with aerosols properly; walk instead of using the car when going to a place only a block away; and let your school children ride in a school bus rather than sending them to school with the family car, and the list goes on.
There are plenty of ways that we can contribute in the preservation of our environment. Air pollution is an important matter, which every individual should be concerned about. The solution to air pollution is not a government concern,This is everybody's issue.
